For more than 40 years, we have been preparing delicacies for the students and guests of the canteens and bistros in our bakery, hidden inside the Lichtwiese canteen. Early in the morning, so-called "shell shrapnel", nut triangles, almond bars and various cakes and pastries are prepared for the day.

It is little known that we produce most of our baked goods ourselves. There is a steady flow of new creations suggested by students and employees. This includes the cake of the month, which is sold in the bistros at just €1.60.

Two bakers and two pastry chefs start baking for you at 2am. Every year, among other things they bake 27,000 nut triangles and 23,000 carrot cake slices.
