Green electricity

Since 2011, the Studierendenwerk has been using 100 percent green electricity from renewable sources at all of its locations, since 2020 from the Darmstadt-based provider ENTEGA. This means that not only the halls of residence obtain green electricity, but also the refectories, bistros and all administrative buildings. In this way, we are making a significant contribution to climate protection and acting in the spirit of our mission statement for the common good.

In addition, we are currently planning further communication measures to sensitise residents and staff to the need to use energy sparingly.
