Moving out
Upon receiving our confirmation of termination, please make an appointment with the Accommodation Service in your residence in good time for a preliminary inspection and to arrange the move-out date.
The deposit will be refunded to your account 3 months after the agreement expires. An official handover checklist is required for the deposit to be repaid.
Moving out dates are coordinated with the Accommodation Service in the residences. The keys to your room must be returned on the last day of the agreement at the latest (Monday-Thursday between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. or Friday between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.). If the last day is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the keys must be returned on the preceding working day. (General Tenancy Conditions, Item XV).
A preliminary appointment should be arranged with your Accommodation Service before moving out.
When you return the keys, your room will be checked for damage and cleanliness and a handover checklist will be drawn up. All keys must be returned. It is not possible to return to the room after you have moved out and returned your keys.
If you are prevented from returning the keys to your room, you can send a proxy. This person must then present a signed letter of proxy and a copy of your identity card.
