Link between studies and profession
Hochschulteam (of the Employment Agency Darmstadt)
The “Hochschulteam”counsels and informs about the organization of the studies with regard to the job market, about application strategies and about the individual planning of the career. It shows employment opportunities, gives expectations and requirements of the employer and enables contacts to companies.
The “Hochschulteam” offers:
- Individual counseling for students, graduates and college dropouts
- Check of application file
- Seminars and workshops for applicants
- Lecture and information events

Contacts to companies - job fairs
Konaktiva (TU Darmstadt)
One of the oldest and biggest fairs of Germany to get in contact with companies. It annually takes place in the “Darmstadtium”. All students from Darmstadt and surroundings can participate in that fair.
Besides contacts to companies there are many workshops and lectures to prepare for the fair in the context of the “warm ups”.
Students, who would like to gather work experience, can get involved with the campus group organizing this fair.

myAbility
Career programme for students with disabilities
The myAbility Talent Programme of the Viennese consultancy myAbility brings together students with disabilities and companies. For the duration of one semester, myAbility Talents benefit from comprehensive career coaching and a variety of networking opportunities with well-known companies. This offer is also explicitly aimed at career starters with not (immediately) visible disabilities or chronic illnesses. In Germany, the programme will be offered in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt in 2020/2021. The current application deadline for Frankfurt is 22 November 2020!
XNet network by and for academics
The internet portal of the Inclusive Experts Network (iXNet) by and for academics with disabilities is online. It offers information, peer support, counselling and topic-specific exchange. The offer is rounded off by information for employers who want to employ academics with disabilities. iXNet wants to strengthen academics with disabilities on their professional path and improve their employment prospects in the long term.
