For a culture of mutual respect
It is important to us that you experience and cultivate appreciation and respectful interaction with one another, even during your studies.
We – the Studierendenwerk Darmstadt – are committed to a discrimination-free university environment.
Our intercultural workshops aim to stimulate and promote exchange and enable a change of perspective. In our workshops, we focus specifically on anti-discrimination. We consider all forms of discrimination at all levels.
We also cooperate with both universities and support them in their activities relating to sexualised violence.
Today, we would therefore like to introduce you to the services and contact persons at your university.
Respect on TU Campus
The TU Darmstadt and the Studierendenwerk cooperate across institutions in the Anti-Sexism Working Group. This makes us one of the central points of contact on the TU Darmstadt campus. You can contact us for professional and confidential information on issues related to sexualised discrimination or for support for those seeking advice and those affected.
The TU is committed to actively combating discrimination and assault and encourages all university members to stand up for people who have been discriminated against or assaulted. The Studierendenwerk has supported the TU Darmstadt's "achtung!" campaign since 2016 and has previously been significantly involved in the creation of the "Guideline against Sexualised Discrimination and Assault".
