International students have the opportunity to remain in Germany for up to 18 months after graduation in order to find employment appropriate to their degree.

Challenges in the transition to the labor market can be the limited time to find a job, lack of practical experience or insufficient knowledge about the respective opportunities on the labor market. However, factors such as the supply on the local labor market, the commitment of companies and support from municipal stakeholders and employment agencies also play an important role.

In addition to the theoretically acquired specialist knowledge, graduates are expected to have a whole range of personal qualities, competencies and, above all, practical experience.

In this online event

  • you will receive valuable tips on how to optimally prepare your career and gain practical experience already during your studies.
  • For this event, we will show you positive examples and have invited international graduates who have mastered the start of their careers in Germany. They will introduce their employers, report on their successes and give advice.
