Looking for a room - how does it work?

All students and applicants of the Technical University of Darmstadt and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences are welcome to apply.
How to apply?
You apply online for a room in a dormitory. The application is made without submitting a student enrolment certificate. The application does not guarantee a room in a dormitory. The number of free rooms at the beginning of the semester, the number of enquiries, the date of receipt of the application and the individual details from the application (rent amount, choice of dorms, etc.) determine the "chances of success" in the selection of accommodation.
Race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or ideology, disability, age or sexual identity of the applicant shall not be taken into account when deciding on the allocation of available accommodation. Mixed-gender occupancy is generally possible in shared flats.
