The application for subletting must be submitted as early as possible, but no later than 14 days before the start of the sublet. Subletting is only permitted for enrolled students of the Technische Universität Darmstadt and Hochschule Darmstadt according to the occupancy regulations.
In addition, it is necessary that all flat-share residents agree to the subletting. Applications without the required proof and with missing signatures cannot be accepted. You can find further information in the Downloads section.
Regardless of the reason for subletting, the copy of the semester ticket of the interim tenant and the signed guidelines must always be submitted.
In the case of a study-related subletting, further proof (internship contract, letter of acceptance, etc.) must be submitted.
We expressly point out that the subtenant has no claim to the room or flat after the end of the subletting period.
