Intercultural Competence<\/h3>

\u201cCulture hides more than it reveals, and strangely enough what it hides, it hides most effectively from its own participants. Years of study have convinced me that the real job is not to understand foreign culture but to understand our own.\u201d <\/em>Edward, T. Hall (1959)<\/p>\n

In a globalised world that gets more and more connected - transcending national borders - \u201cintercultural competence\u201d is becoming a key competence in a variety of different contexts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIntercultural competence\u201c encompasses different traits such as: reflection, empathy, the willingness to change one\u2019s perspective, openness and the ability to tolerate differences.<\/p>\n

We offer intercultural workshops that can be tailor made for specific groups in terms of topics and the times allotted for a workshop.<\/p>\n

Our workshops aim:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 awareness of intercultural situations<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 recognition and reflection of values and norms<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 reflection of different perspectives and communication<\/p>\n

Target groups:<\/strong> students, employees and trainees studying or working in higher education<\/p>\n

We currently do not offer entire workshops in English. However, talks or introductionary sessions are part of our services.<\/strong><\/p>\n
