“Give racism a stage” – Othello

“Give racism a stage” – Othello · in cooperation with Staatstheater Darmstadt

“Othello” is one of the most famous black persons on our stages. Shakespeare´s tragedy ranks until today among the most popular plays and is a very European affair, in which “the other” is constantly re-interpreted. The Intercultural Tutors Team (ITT) invites the audience to join our “World Café” and to participate in a panel discussion before watching the play. Afterwards, there is a follow-up discussion with members of the ensemble.
