Loan from the Studierendenwerk Darmstadt
Requirements
Support is provided to students at Darmstadt Technical University and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences who pay the semester fee for the Studierendenwerk. In addition to the state subsidies, the Studierendenwerk Darmstadt has set up loan funds from which it provides support to "its" students in special situations of need.
Student loans
These loans can be granted to students who are no longer entitled to support under the BAföG and are in need for the completion phase of their studies (term 12 months until the expected completion of studies; maximum amount € 5.000). In principle, a directly enforceable guarantee from a person who is gainfully employed in Germany and has regular attachable income must be submitted.
Die Rückzahlung erfolgt in Monatsraten von 150,00 € und beginnt zwei Jahre nach dem bei der Beantragung vorgesehenen Studienabschluss.
